True sovereignty isn’t a concept; it’s a conscious choice.

When we look at the DW-10 on our table, we see more than just a carbon fiber/EPP drone. We see a system we built ourselves, starting from the very first line of code. In this industry, it’s common to take the easy route: buying off-the-shelf software and hoping the updates keep rolling in. We do things differently.

Our vision on in-house software development:

Data security without compromises.

We often hear about "secure" systems, but for us, it’s simple: not a single byte leaves the system unless the user holds the key. Because we designed the architecture ourselves, there are simply no backdoors or vague cloud connections to servers on the other side of the ocean. It’s your data, on your terms. Mission-level agility.

When a customer asks for a specific modification for a complex flight, we don’t have to knock on the door of an external supplier. We open our own source code and build exactly what is needed. That speed is crucial; in the air, every second counts, and every line of code must perform exactly as the pilot expects.

True technological sovereignty.

The world is changing rapidly, and geopolitical tensions make external dependency a significant risk. By owning 100% of our software stack, we guarantee that the DW-10 will fly just as reliably ten years from now as it does today. We aren’t at the mercy of the whims of foreign tech giants or sudden export restrictions.

Autonomy doesn't start with the hardware; it starts with the freedom to steer your own course. That is the Dutch Wing promise!
